This is a common 220 size conibear box made form scrap lumber. It is useful in coon and oh yes possum traping. The box is made out of 1/2"-5/4 siding material. The slots are 1/2 inch wide 3" long. The top is 2 feet x 1 foot
The sides are 2 feet x 9"
The bottom is 16" x 11"
Put together with 1 1/4" drywall screws. 3/4" Hole drilled 8" from back centered on top and bottom piece. This is for a rebar T stake. 1/2" hole drilled 1 1/2" behind the slot. This will allow for wire to be used to wrap around only one side of spring to hold the spring in so the trap cannot be pulled out.
Wire mesh is placed on the back with poulty staples.
I like the fact a coon can enter on the ground that is why the bottom is shorter. The wire mesh allows the animal to see thru I think that is a plus as well. Good luck don
